i overcame so much to love you. i let down my walls and gave so much to be able to trust you with my heart. i gave my entire soul to get to that point and then like nothing, you dropped my fragile heart and turned away before you could see it lying on the ground, shattered in a million pieces.
and to think you could have just been there for me.
... as I endure and recover from a life-saving liver transplant. I am transitioning back to this blog for all happenings of my normal life, still using Amanda's Journey for transplant updates.
...because a young donor and his family made a decision that saved my life one day in August, 2010. I received my new liver on August 31.
...because this disease almost killed me.
